Use & 2257 policy
This acceptable use policy applies to the products, services, and technologies (collectively referred to as the "Products") offered by xme.bio under any active agreement. Its purpose is to safeguard us, our customers, and the broader Internet community from unethical, irresponsible, and illegal actions.
Customers of xme.bio who are found to be participating in activities prohibited by this policy may face service suspension or account termination. In severe instances, we may be legally required to report such customers to the appropriate authorities.
This policy was last reviewed on 22 May 2026.
Fair use
We offer our facilities with the expectation that your usage will align with “business as usual,” as outlined in our offer schedule. If usage is deemed excessive, additional fees may apply, or service capacity may be limited.
We strongly oppose all forms of abuse, discrimination, rights violations, and any actions that harm or disadvantage any group, individual, or resource. We expect our customers and, where applicable, their users (“end-users”) to use our Products with the same respectful intent.
Customer accountability
We hold our customers accountable for their own actions and for the actions of anyone using our Products with the customer’s permission. This responsibility extends to unauthorized use resulting from the customer’s failure to implement adequate security measures.
By accepting our Products, customers agree to ensure that anyone using the Products as their end-user complies with this policy. Complaints about customer or end-user actions will be directed to the designated contact for the account in question.
If a customer, their end-user, or anyone using our Products as a result of the customer’s actions violates our acceptable use policy, we reserve the right to terminate any related Products or the account itself, or to take other appropriate remedial or preventative actions, without notice. No credits will be issued for service interruptions caused by such violations, to the extent permitted by law.
Prohibited activity
Copyright infringement and access to unauthorized material
Our Products must not be used to transmit, distribute or store any material in violation of any applicable law. This includes but isn’t limited to:
- any material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right used without proper authorization, and
- any material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat or violates export control laws.
The customer is solely responsible for all material they input, upload, disseminate, transmit, create or publish through or on our Products, and for obtaining legal permission to use any works included in such material.
SPAM and unauthorized message activity
Our Products are strictly prohibited from being used to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages that violate the laws and regulations in your jurisdiction (“spam”). This includes, but is not limited to, sending spam, soliciting customers through spam sent from other service providers, and collecting responses from spam distributed by other services.
Additionally, our Products must not be used to operate unconfirmed mailing lists or telephone number lists (“messaging lists”). This includes, but is not limited to, adding email addresses or phone numbers to any messaging list without the explicit consent of the owner, or storing any contact information obtained in this way. All messaging lists managed or hosted through our Products must be “confirmed opt-in,” and proof of the owner’s explicit permission must be retained for the entire duration of the list’s existence.
We do not allow the use of purchased email lists, telephone number lists, or databases from third parties for the purpose of sending spam or unconfirmed messages through our Products.
This policy against spam and unauthorized messaging applies to messages sent via our Products or any other network by the customer or any representative of the customer, where such messages direct recipients to a site hosted on our Products.
Unethical, exploitative, and malicious activity
Our Products are prohibited from being used to advertise, distribute, or otherwise make available any software, program, product, or service intended to violate this acceptable use policy or the acceptable use policies of other service providers. This includes, but is not limited to, providing the means to send spam, as well as engaging in activities such as network sniffing, pinging, packet spoofing, flooding, mail-bombing, and denial-of-service attacks.
Additionally, our Products must not be used to access any account or electronic resource where the individual or group attempting access is not the rightful owner or does not have authorized permission (e.g. "hacking," "cracking," "phreaking," etc.).
Our Products must also not be used to intentionally or recklessly introduce viruses or malicious code into our systems or those of others.
Furthermore, our Products must not be used to engage in any activities specifically aimed at harassing or harming another group or individual. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, denial-of-service attacks, hate speech, advocacy of racial or ethnic intolerance, and any actions intended to threaten, abuse, violate the rights of, or discriminate against any group or individual.
Other activities considered unethical, exploitative, and malicious include:
- Obtaining (or attempting to obtain) services from us with the intent to evade payment;
- Using our facilities to obtain (or attempt to obtain) services from another provider with the intent to avoid payment;
- Unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction (or any attempt thereof) of any information related to our customers or end-users, by any means or device;
- Using our facilities to disrupt or interfere with the use of our network and facilities by other customers or authorized users;
- Publishing or transmitting any content or links that promote violence, depict violent acts, display child pornography, or threaten anyone’s health and safety;
- Engaging in any action or omission that violates consumer protection laws and regulations;
- Committing any violation of an individual’s privacy.
Our Products must not be used by any individual or entity involved in, or suspected of being involved in, activities or causes related to illegal gambling, terrorism, narcotics trafficking, arms trafficking, or the proliferation, development, design, manufacture, production, stockpiling, or use of nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons, weapons of mass destruction, or missiles. This prohibition extends to any affiliation with others who support such activities or causes.
Unauthorized use of xme.bio property
We strictly prohibit impersonating xme.bio, falsely claiming a significant business relationship with xme.bio, or misrepresenting ownership of any xme.bio property (including our Products and brand) in order to fraudulently acquire services, customers, patronage, or user trust.
